The Indigenous Wholistic Mental Wellness program blends Indigenous and Western practices to support the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of Indigenous peoples.
The program offers Indigenous and Western counselling and case management. Indigenous counselling provides a compassionate approach rooted in Traditional knowledge, experience, and healing.

Using an Indigenous worldview, this program promotes mental health and overall well-being for Indigenous individuals, families and community by:
- Increasing access to mental health and wellness resources.
- Increasing trust in Western mental health practices.
- Building support systems within an individual’s community.
- Addressing the long-lasting intergenerational effects of historical trauma and oppression of Indigenous peoples.

Program Offerings

We focus on healing the individual as well as the community through family workshops and cultural ceremonies. Offerings include:
- Case management.
- Access to a holistic nutritionist.
- Generational healing.
- Mental wellness services and programs including sweat ceremonies and sharing circles.
- One-on-one sessions with elders.
- One-on-one sessions with seers (Seers have the gift to communicate with “Spirit Helpers”- individuals who have passed on to the spirit world.)
- One-on-one sessions with Healers (Healers offer emotional and spiritual guidance and can incorporate the use of traditional medicines to help individuals heal their mind, body and spirit.)
